Rhodes Scores in U18s Win - Ipswich Town News
Academy striker Jordan Rhodes was quickly back in the goals as the U18s defeated Crystal Palace 3-2 at Playford Road on Saturday morning. Rhodes was returning to action after missing the opening months of the season due to a collar bone injury.
Prior to Rhodes's goal, Tony Boto and Ian Nimmo had both been on target for the U18s. The senior academy team are now fourth in their group, seven points behind leaders Chelsea, who still have a 100% record.
Goals from Joe Bloomfield and Jack Ainsley helped the U16s to a 2-0 victory over Palace.
