Recent signings Martin Brittain and Ian Miller are included in the reserves squad facing Felixstowe and Walton in Tuesday's Suffolk Premier Cup first round tie at Delwood Avenue (KO 7.45pm).
Aside from Brittain, who made his debut in the Carling Cup tie at Peterborough, the only other players with first team experience involved are Dean Bowditch, Scott Barron, Sammy Moore and Darryl Knights.
The rest of the party is made up of youngsters with striker Jordan Rhodes back after missing the first two months of the season having undergone surgery on a broken collar bone.
Reserves: Plummer, Synnott, Robinson, Krause, Miller, Barron, Moore, Upson, Brittain, Bowditch, Knights, Rhodes, Reason, Fenn, Short, Smith.
