Squad for Brechin - Ipswich Town News

Town have named the squad for Thursday's friendly with Brechin City at Glebe Park (KO 7.30pm). The game is being played to mark the Scottish club's centenary.

The Blues include Ian Miller, recently signed from Bury Town, who is also in the squad for tonight's reserve match at Felixstowe and Walton.

The senior side are without Lewis Price, away with Wales, Alan Lee, with the Republic of Ireland, Jaime Peters, with Canada's U20s, and Chris Casement, who is on Northern Ireland U19 duty.

Gavin Williams is set to undergo groin surgery this week and Matt Richards has a calf problem, while Owen Garvan remains sidelined with the post-viral syndrome which has so far prevented him from playing any part this season.

The game will give the likes of Martin Brittain a chance to push their claim for first team inclusion, while Scott Barron and Sammy Moore will be looking to impress any watching scouts who may be interested in taking them on loan.

Squad: Barron, Bowditch, Brittain, Bruce, Clarke, Currie, De Vos, Harding, Legwinski, Macken, Miller, Moore, Naylor, Noble, Sito, Supple, Walton and Wilnis.
