Price Not Right - Ipswich Town News
Keeper Lewis Price has chipped a rib and has some swelling on his hip but is not yet ruled out of Sunday's home game with Luton Town. Price suffered the injury when Southend's Matt Harrold collided with him in the early stages of Saturday's 3-1 win at Roots Hall.
Town's head of sports science Dave Williams told the club site: "Lewis has had an x-ray and he has chipped a rib.
"He also has some swelling on his hip bone but it's settling down, although it's still very painful.
"Obviously, he is a concern for the weekend, but we are certainly not ruling him out of the Luton game.
"It's a case of waiting to see how quickly the pain subsides and how it affects his mobility."
Price was replaced by Shane Supple at Roots Hall and the Irishman could keep his place in the side on Sunday even if the Welshman is fit enough to play.
