Garvan Pleased to Be Back - Ipswich Town News
Owen Garvan says he is pleased to be back in action but says he still has a way to go before he is ready to return to the senior side. The 18-year-old has been out of action since picking up shingles in pre-season and subsequently being laid low with post-viral syndrome.
The Irishman told the club site: "It's been great to have been playing again and it went OK against Norwich.
"It's another step in the right direction and I enjoyed the game, but I also know that I still have a long, long way to go yet before I'm ready for first team football."
Garvan played 67 minutes of the 3-0 victory over the Canaries.
