Supporters Trust AGM - Ipswich Town News

Ipswich Town Ist, the ITFC Supporters Trust, are holding their AGM at the Legends Bar at Portman Road on Thursday evening. The Trust has also announced a further investment of £5,000 into the academy's regional development centres.

The meeting starts at 7pm and will be followed by a question and answer session with chief executive Derek Bowden and manager Jim Magilton. Academy sponsorship manager Simon Milton will also attend to discuss the progress of the academy.

The Trust is continuing its sponsorship of the academy with another £5,000 invested into the regional development centres for players aged between 8 and 12. This takes the Trust's total investment in the academy to more than £15,000.

The money will be used to purchase new development centre kit and equipment. The regional development centres are an important part of the club's academy programme with around three quarters of the players invited into the academy coming through them.

Future Trust plans include a new share-save scheme which will help to further widen the shareholding amongst supporters.

To join Ipswich Town Ist and attend the members only meeting, call Colin Kreidewolf on 07766 231967. More details on Ipswich Town Ist at their website.
