Currie Move Next Week - Ipswich Town News

Coventry City assistant manager Adrian Heath expects Darren Currie to finally complete his move to the Ricoh Arena next week. The Sky Blues have been tracking the winger since the summer.

Heath says that Town's interest in a player exchange involving Dele Adebola was not something he and boss Micky Adams were interested in: "The manager has enquired about Darren on a couple of occasions but at first Ipswich were interested in a swap deal, but they were for people we didn't want to lose.

"The situation has now changed and something can now be done with just Darren involved.

"It is unlikely it will happen in time for Saturday but something will probably be done for next week."

Currie could make the final appearance of his time at Portman Road on Sunday against Norwich when he is likely to be named amongst Town's substitutes.
