Wright in Team of the Week - Ipswich Town News

Town keeper Richard Wright has been named in the Opta Team of the Week after his dazzling display at Highbury on Saturday. The Town keeper has now amassed 1,602 Opta points and this is his second appearence in the Team of the Week.

The four alternative kits for next season are going on a tour of Co-ops in Suffolk. In a bid to give as many people the chance to vote on the kits as possible the kits can be seen all over Suffolk.

Check out these Co-ops on these days: Sizewell Road, Leiston from 11.00am Thursday 15th February until Monday 19th February, North Street, Sudbury from Tuesday 20th February until Friday 23rd February and finally the Menswear department at the Carr Street Co-op Instore in Ipswich, Saturday 24th February. You will be able to vote on the premises.

The Waiting List announced last week has had a good response according to the club. The Waiting List is there to gauge whether there is a real need for an expansion of the North Stand as well as getting an early indication of the numbers of people who will be after season tickets for next season.

Chairman David Sheepshanks said of the response: "I hope all supporters who wish to gain a season ticket will take this opportunity to apply quickly and obtain an advanced position on the Waiting List. The initial response has been good but while it is impossible to predict numbers at this stage I think it will be worthwhile for all those interested to apply as soon as possible."

Ticket Office Manager Bill Leggate added: "We are very pleased with the response to the Waiting List so far which clearly indicates the huge demand by supporters to be part of Ipswich Town's success."
