Price Back in Training - Ipswich Town News

Keeper Lewis Price has returned to training after breaking a rib at Southend last month. However, Town have confirmed that Billy Clarke's ankle injury will almost certainly keep him out of Saturday's trip to Barnsley, while Gary Roberts is also a concern.

Town's head of sports science Dave Williams told the club site: "Lewis is moving forward and has trained over the last couple of days, but he is still feeling a little sore.

"He's probably a week or so away from perhaps having a run out in the reserves.

"Billy looks like he will miss the Barnsley game. He jarred his ankle ligaments in the Norwich game and the weekend looks too early for him.

"It's nothing major and we're hopeful that he will be fully recovered in time to play against Derby next week.

"Gary Roberts has also picked up a slight groin injury in training and will sit out the sessions until Friday, but he should be OK for the weekend."
