Macken Says Sorry - Ipswich Town News
Striker Jon Macken has apologised for his reaction to being substituted at Barnsley on Saturday. The loanee from Crystal Palace took his frustrations out on a bottle and the dugout after being replaced in the second half at Oakwell.
The 29-year-old was frustrated not just at being taken off but also at Town's failure to break down the Tykes' backline and says he is sorry if he caused any offence: "It was a little bit silly and I apologise if I offended anybody.
"I have been told that it did not look very nice, but it was not aimed at the manager."
