Lee Set for Scan - Ipswich Town News
Striker Alan Lee is set for a scan on his groin injury but Town are hopeful the problem is nothing serious. The Irish international is out of Saturday's trip to his former club Cardiff as he is suspended for one game after reaching five bookings.
Town's head of sports science Dave Williams told the club site: "The rest will obviously help Alan, but he will have a scan today and take it from there.
"We're hopeful that it will be a minor problem, we're not expecting to see any tear. It might be a slight strain but Alan says it's feeling better, so the signs are encouraging."
On-loan striker Dean Bowditch is back at Portman Road as he recovers from the groin injury which has restricted him to just three sub appearances during his time with Brighton. The former England U19 international's spell at the Withdean was recently extended for another month.
