No Tear for Lee - Ipswich Town News
A scan has revealed that striker Alan Lee's groin injury is not a tear. Lee, who misses the trip to Cardiff on Saturday due to suspension, is expected to return to training next week.
Town's head of sports science Dave Williams told the club site: "Alan has been carrying the injury since the Derby game last week, but did say the discomfort was easing.
"He's had a scan and things are looking OK. There is a little fluid around the area but no obvious sign of a tear.
"It's good news and the rest will help him. He would have been struggling to make Saturday, but should be back in training next week."
