Second Appeal for Town - Ipswich Town News
Local radio reports suggest that Town may launch a second appeal against Marcus Stewart's red card against Leeds. Although the club has had no confirmation that the original appeal has been turned down they are planning a second attempt to rescind the card should the outcome turn out to be negative.
Clearly the club were very confident that the appeal would come out in their favour and every avenue seems likely to be travelled to get the decision overturned.
Earlier today the FA said that Marcus Stewart's red card appeal had failed with even Town's official website was reporting this. Subsequently at this afternoon's regular Thursday press conference the club said they had heard nothing and in an email to TWTD said they were hopeful that the decision would go their way.
