Walton to Return - Ipswich Town News

Midfielder Simon Walton says he expects to return to Charlton when his loan is up in January. New Addicks manager Les Reed has told the 19-year-old that once his half-season loan ends he will be in his plans.

Walton told the club site: "I've really enjoyed my time at Ipswich but Les Reed, the manager at Charlton, has said that he would like me back in January and that I will go into his first team plans, so it looks as though that's what will happen, although nothing is certain."

Walton has made 14 appearances for the Blues so far and has scored three goals.

Meanwhile, on-loan Town striker Dean Bowditch is back in the Brighton squad for tomorrow's game at Oldham after his groin injury.

Albion Boss Dean Wilkins says the former England U19 international has been unlucky: "He's been very unfortunate, because the times when he has actually come on for us he's made a big impact.

"He scored the winner at Bradford and then caused real problems against Tranmere, so it has been a blow not to have him back.

"Even when he had to go back to Ipswich, he was still coming back down to watch us play, which I think speaks volumes about the way he feels about the club, even in the short spell that he has been here."

James Krause could make his debut for Carlisle at Swansea on Saturday due to injury problems for the Cumbrians. Krause could come in at left-back, having played his first game since his two-month loan move for the reserves earlier this week.
