Cup Opponents May Change - Ipswich Town News
Town's third round FA Cup opponents could change after it was revealed that Bury played an ineligible player in their second round replay at Chester City. The Shakers won last Tuesday's game 3-1 but now face an FA enquiry on Wednesday.
Bury included Steve Turnbull in their starting line-up but the loanee from Hartlepool hadn't received official sanction to play.
The FA enquiry could reverse the result meaning the Blues would make their first ever trip to the Deva Stadium on January 6th.
