No Leeds Appeal - Ipswich Town News
Leeds United have announced that they will not be appealing Kevin Nicholls's sending off at Portman Road on Saturday. Nicholls was shown a straight red card for elbowing Danny Haynes in the face in the second half shortly after receiving a yellow card for kicking out at Alan Lee.
A statement on the Yorkshire side's website said: "Club officials discussed the matter on Monday morning and deciding against lodging an appeal with the Football Association."
After the game manager Dennis Wise slammed the decision but, with the video evidence showing the offence very clearly, his club will not to try to have the dismissal overturned.
