Williams Has Jab - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Gavin Williams is expected be OK to face Stoke at Portman Road on Saturday after having an injection to help settle the groin injury which forced him off after an hour of Saturday's 1-0 victory over Leeds.
Head of sports science Dave Williams told the club site: "We have scanned his back and his hip area and everything is normal.
"He's had an injection into his pelvic region and we hope that will settle things down.
"Gavin said he was feeling a little sore after the Cardiff game and it's a situation that we will continue to monitor, but we're hopeful that having had the injection, he will be OK for the weekend."
Williams recently returned to action having undergone groin surgery earlier in the season.
