Trotter to Return - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Liam Trotter will not be extending his loan spell at Millwall beyond January. The 18-year-old has been with the Lions since the end of August.
Trotter's time at the Den was almost ended early by the Blues due to his lack of first team involvement, but after former Town assistant manager Willie Donachie took over as boss, the FA Youth Cup winner remained with the South Londoners.
Even so, the ex-Bury Town schoolboy made just one start and two substitute appearances for his loan club.
Trotter, who signed a two-year contract with Town in August, made his first and so far only appearance for the Blues as a sub at Plymouth on the final day of last season.
