Town will not be offering a contract to trialist Stephen Cosgrove. The Manchester United player was at Portman Road two weeks during which time he played two reserve matches. He didn't show too much in either game and his release comes as little surprise.
Cosgrove has been told his contract with Manchester United will not be renewed at the end of the season.
There is no news as yet on whether Town will make an offer to US international Cobi Jones who has also been on trial.
