Midfielder Matt Richards says he won't allow the Portman Road boo boys to get to him. Richards has become the latest player to be treated harshly by Town's home fans and was jeered when replaced by Danny Haynes during the second half of Monday's 1-0 victory over Birmingham.

The 22-year-old said: "I am not going to let it affect me. I am above that. To be honest, I am not sure whether fans were being sarcastic to me or cheering the arrival of Danny.

"As far as I am concerned it is over. It is in the past.”
