Watford to Sign Hoskins - Ipswich Town News
Premiership Watford are expected to complete the signings of Rotherham striker Will Hoskins and his midfield compatriot Lee Williamson on Friday morning. Town watched Hoskins in action for the Millers on a regular basis during the first half of the season, but had denied claims that they made a bid.
Rotherham are understood to have accepted a fee of £1.2 million for the duo from the Hornets. Hoskins and Williamson are set to discuss terms and undergo medicals on Friday.
Meanwhile, reports in Birmingham claim that the Championship leaders have confirmed that Town have shown interest in midfielder Neil Kilkenny, not just during the current transfer window but also last summer.
The Midlanders are said to have rebuffed Town bids to take the former Arsenal trainee on loan with a view to a permanent deal. Earlier this week Jim Magilton denied any interest in the Australian international.
The player himself is claimed to be increasingly frustrated at his lack of opportunities at St Andrew's. Despite being secured on a contract until 2009, Kilkenny has made only two starts this season, both in the Carling Cup.
