Home Derby for U18s - Ipswich Town News

Town's U18s are in action against Norwich City at Playford Road on Saturday morning (KO 11am). The game is the senior Academy side's first in a month.

TWTD understands that Town will offer Academy scholarships to midfielder Joe Clemo, strikers Craig Calver, Jack Ainsley and Paul Murphy and central defender Paul Watson ahead of the 2007/08 season.

Calver and Clemo are from Essex, while Ainsley from Felixstowe is the brother of former trainee Stuart and the son of 1980s youth player George.

Murphy is a Republic of Ireland U16 international, while Watson hails from Scotland.

Meanwhile, released U16 midfielder Stuart O'Keefe has been on trial at Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Southend United.
