Adebola Linked Again - Ipswich Town News
Town were reported to have renewed their interest in Coventry striker Dele Adebola by a tabloid over the weekend. The former Crewe man was initially targeted by Jim Magilton over the summer.
Mentioned as a possible target today is Leeds frontman David Healy, a player Jim Magilton has previously said he'd like at Portman Road. The Northern Irish international striker is likely to be beyond Town's means, unless they receive a windfall from Darren Bent leaving Charlton. Healy has been linked with Watford and other Premiership sides in recent months.
Arsenal striker Anthony Stokes, linked with Town last week, is is reported to have chosen to move to Sunderland rather than Charlton on a permanent deal. Stokes's decision not to return to former loan club Falkirk is likely to lead to Darryl Knights joining the SPL side.
Meanwhile, there is no news from Cork City on Town's offer for midfielder George O'Callaghan. The Eircom League club's manager Damien Richardson and chairman Brian Lennox were due to meet to discuss Town's offer on Friday.
