Miller Loan Extended - Ipswich Town News

Town have extended Ian Miller's loan spell at Boston United for a further month. The former Bury Town youngster has been with the Pilgrims since November and has made 11 appearances.

Manager Steve Evans, a close friend of Town goalkeeper coach Andy Rhodes, welcomed the Blues agreeing to the extension: "At the end of last week, we got permission to extend the loan spells of both Drewe Broughton [from Chester] and Jason Kennedy [from Middlesbrough] and with the news that Ian Miller is spending some further time with us, it really does provide us with a nice boost.

"Ian Miller's performances have improved and he has taken well to the routines in training and he has got the benefit as his game has improved.

"I would like to place on record my thanks to Jim Magilton and Charlie Woods for all their help and co-operation.”

Miller joined Town earlier in the season from Ridgeons League side Bury Town for a low five-figure fee and a pre-season friendly in the summer.
