Two More Went on Trip - Ipswich Town News
Striker Billy Clarke and midfielder Gavin Williams are reported to have joined the five Town players already named on last week's unauthorised trip to Amsterdam.
Boss Jim Magilton, with the support of chairman David Sheepshanks and chief executive Derek Bowden, disciplined Alan Lee, Gary Roberts, Chris Casement, Darryl Knights and Scott Barron for the two-day break.
All the players involved are understood to have been given the days off, but the trip was considered inappropriate by the management ahead of Saturday's FA Cup third round tie at Chester City.
Yesterday, Jim Magilton released a statement in which he said that "appropriate steps have been taken to ensure that it does not happen again".
