Deano Back to Brighton? - Ipswich Town News

Brighton and Hove Albion want Dean Bowditch to return to them on loan until the end of the season. The former England U19 international striker is currently back at Portman Road having treatment on a recurrent groin injury.

Seagulls assistant manager Dean White said: "We are waiting to hear from Ipswich what they are going to do with him.

"It has been a major disappointment really, because he wanted to be here and we wanted him here.

"He fits the criteria we are looking for. I envisaged when he first came he would be here until the end of the season. That was the deal we wanted to do."

Bowditch returned to Town at the beginning of the month having made one start and three sub appearances for the Albion, scoring once.
