Blackburn's Croft Sell! - Ipswich Town News
Town are currently in the process of signing Blackburn full back Gary Croft. The former Grimsby player was signed for £1.7 million three seasons ago on deadline day, but has never made a first team shirt his own. Town are refusing to quote a price, although reports suggest that £500,000 could be the amount that George Burley has paid. The signing of left-sided Croft adds to speculation that Town Player of the Year Jamie Clapham may end up as being the left-sided midfielder the club are looking to to replace Bobby Petta. Town have agreed a fee and are waiting for the results of a medical.
