Francis in Reserves - Ipswich Town News

Woodbridge Town striker Joe Francis is included in the Blues' reserves squad for tonight's home game with Stevenage Borough (KO 7pm, Portman Road). Francis, 20, has played a number of trial games for the second string in recent weeks, scoring in last Tuesday's 3-1 behind-closed-doors friendly victory over Millwall.

Also in Richard Hall's side are new signing George O'Callaghan and Aidan Collins. The central defender is looking to win himself a new contract with the Blues after undergoing knee surgery late last year, having been released by Town's previous management team.

Midfielder Liam Trotter is involved, having returned from an unproductive loan spell at Millwall, while Martin Brittain and Chris Casement will want to impress boss Jim Magilton ahead of this weekend's FA Cup fourth round home tie with Swansea City.

Reserves: Barron, Brittain, Casement, Collins, Fenn, Francis, Leabon, O'Callaghan, Reason, Rhodes, Short, Smith, Supple, Synnott, Trotter, Upson.
