Town Nominated for Award - Ipswich Town News
Town's deal with E.ON has been nominated for the Best Club Sponsorship title in the Football League Awards. The Blues, who are not nominated in any other category, are up against Walsall and Brentford for the award.
The winners of the 18 categories will be announced at the second annual Football League Awards at London's Grosvenor House on Sunday, 4th March.
The Football League's commercial director Stewart Thomson says the awards recognise both on-field and off-field endeavours: "The Football League Awards, incorporating FourFourTwo's Top 50 Players, aim to champion achievements off the pitch as well as on it.
"The quality of the entries is testament to the innovative community, marketing and sponsorship programmes that clubs throughout The League are undertaking in order to maintain their places at the heart of the community.”
