Burchill Deal Confirmed - Ipswich Town News
Terms have been agreed with Celtic striker Mark Burchill and he looks likely to go straight into the squad for Saturday's match with Everton. And the Scottish international wants to make his move a permanent one.
Burchill said: "I’m coming to Ipswich to prove that I can do it at the highest level. I’m delighted to have been given this opportunity at Ipswich. It’s a loan deal at the moment, but I’m determined to do well enough to make it permanent."
Town manager George Burley said of another transfer coup: "We’ve got a 20-year-old Scottish international of great potential here for three months and if it works out it could lead to something bigger."
He added that he felt it was "a great deal for this club."
