Bent Bid Turned Down - Ipswich Town News
Charlton are reported to have turned down an £18 million bid from West Ham for Darren Bent. Town are due to receive 20% of the Addicks' profit on the £2.6 million they have so far paid the Blues for the England striker.
The South London club's board are said to have rejected the bid after a board meeting this morning. West Ham, managed by former Charlton boss Alan Curbishley, are claimed to have made two previous bids for the ex-Town frontman.
