Knights Continues Trial - Ipswich Town News

Striker Darryl Knights is continuing his trial with Leyton Orient and played 90 minutes of a 1-0 reserves friendly victory over Dagenham and Redbridge yesterday. Knights previously took part in another friendly with Brentford last week.

Also on trial at Brisbane Road is former Norwich midfielder Phil Mulryne, who spent time training with the Blues at the beginning of the season.

Orient assistant manager Dean Smith says the duo will remain with the Londoners for a further fortnight: "Both Phil and Darryl will train with us for the next couple of weeks so we can continue to monitor their progress."

Knights was previously linked with a move to Falkirk but it's understood the striker wasn't keen on a move to Scotland and in any case the clubs couldn't agree a fee.
