U15s Face United - Ipswich Town News

Town will face Manchester United's U15s in a friendly at Portman Road on Friday, 27th April (KO 7.30pm). It is the second year the Blues have played an academy side sent by the Premiership leaders' on the main pitch.

In April of last year Town beat United's U16s 6-2 with Jordan Rhodes netting a hat-trick and Jack Ainsley, Joe Bloomfield and Jai Reason each scoring once.

The games have been arranged by Sammy Morgan, the academy's head of education, who previously organised similar matches during his time with Norwich's youth set-up.

Town have also announced that the reserves' fixture with Luton Town has been rescheduled for Portman Road on Tuesday, 13th February (KO 2pm). The game was originally meant to be played in December.

The Blues' second string's Club Colours Suffolk Premier Cup semi-final against Ipswich Wanderers at their SEH Sports Ground in Humber Doucy Lane will be played on Wednesday, 7th March (KO 7.45pm). Tickets cost £6 for adults and £3 for concessions.
