Klug: Rest Good for Lee - Ipswich Town News

Town first team coach Bryan Klug says that Alan Lee will benefit from the rest his two-match ban will allow him. The striker, fined for picking up his 10th yellow card of the season at Crystal Palace on Saturday, has been suffering with a hamstring problem in recent weeks.

Klug says Lee was close to missing out on the game at Selhurst Park and sitting out a couple of matches will do him good: "At least it will give Alan a chance to get his hamstring right. It's a niggling injury, something that is ongoing and the rest should benefit him."

Lee pulled up towards the end of the FA Cup tie against Swansea and missed the trip to Stoke. The Irish international is out of Saturday's home game with Leicester and the FA Cup tie at Watford the following weekend.
