Barron Off to Wrexham - Ipswich Town News
Out-of-favour left-back Scott Barron will move to Wrexham on a month's loan on Thursday. The 21-year-old will be joined at the Racecourse Ground by academy striker Kieran Leabon, who will spend time training with the League Two club, again with a view to short-term spell in Wales.
Boss Jim Magilton told the club site: "Scott has been in the first team squad this season but has not had a chance and we need to get him games.
"It's been well documented the problems we have had with lack of reserve team matches this season and we need to see him playing competitive football so we can have a look at him.
"He's travelling down to Wrexham with a view to him staying there initially for a month and then taking it from there."
