U18s Defeat Fulham - Ipswich Town News

Town's U18s defeated Fulham 2-1 at the Cottagers' Motspur Park on Saturday morning. A late Beckham-esque strike from defender Russell Short won the day for the young Blues.

The home side went ahead in the second minute, but Jordan Rhodes put the Blues back on terms on 65 prior to Short lashing a poor goalkeeper's clearance back into the net from the halfway line with five minutes remaining.

U18s: Plummer, Robinson, Short, Smith, Fenn, Upson, Williams, Webster, Reason, Barrett (Nimmo), Rhodes.
