Duo in Glovers Action - Ipswich Town News
Town striker Darryl Knights scored and full-back Luke Webster was also in action for Yeovil's reserves as they were defeated 2-1 at Cheltenham Town yesterday evening. TWTD revealed that the Blues duo were on trial with the Glovers last week.
Knights, who put the Somerset side in front in the 10th minute, played the full 90 minutes of his second game for the Huish Park club's second string. The 18-year-old is looking to win a loan move to the League One side.
Webster, who has been told he will not be offered a professional Town contract when his academy scholarship ends, played 77 minutes before being replaced. The 18-year-old was in action for Southend's reserves against the Blues last week.
