Smith With England - Ipswich Town News

Academy defender Tommy Smith will be away with the England U17 squad this weekend at a tournament in the Algarve.

The England youngsters take on Portugal on Saturday, France on Sunday and Germany on Tuesday.

Centre-half Smith, one of the stars of the academy season, opted to play for England, the country of his birth, ahead of New Zealand, where he lived from the age of eight until joining the Blues last summer.
