U18s Draw With West Ham - Ipswich Town News

Town's U18s drew 1-1 with West Ham at Playford Road on Saturday morning. Jordan Rhodes scored for the Blues with five minutes remaining, Freddie Sears having put the visitors ahead earlier in the second half.

The Blues lost midfielder Ed Upson to a knee injury just before half-time. West Ham fielded former Town academy keeper David Blackmore in their line-up.

First team midfielder Gavin Williams was also at Playford Road, putting in some training ahead of his expected return after his pelvic injury when the reserves take on Ipswich Wanderers in the Club Colours Suffolk Premier Cup on Wednesday.

Stensrud, who has also spent time at Liverpool, is in his second trial spell with the Blues, having previously been at Playford Road in October.
