No More Draws? - Ipswich Town News
The Football League are reported to be considering scrapping draws and instituting shoot-outs to settle games. The suggestion is to be discussed by club chairmen and chief executives at a Football League board meeting on Thursday.
Under the proposals, matches which end tied would be settled either via penalties or by NASL-style shoot-outs where players are given eight seconds to score running in on goal from the halfway line.
