Deal for Jeffers? - Ipswich Town News
Town could take take Francis Jeffers on a permanent deal according to Jim Magilton. The striker who is recovering well from a recent hamstring injury whilst at Ipswich, could return for the rest of the season on loan, and then the whole of 2007/08.
Jim said: "We would love to have him back and if everyone is agreed and we can be sure that we will get some games out of him, then we will sign him for the rest of the season.
"And I do not see any major obstacles in signing Frannie full time next season, although talks will have to take place with Blackburn where he has a contract to 2008."
The loanee from Blackburn only made three appearances before tearing his hamstring in the match against Southend but made a big impact in that short period.
