Ireland's game with Denmark in Dublin this evening has been called off. Despite the pitch being considered playable the terraces are thought to a hazard for spectators.
Town skipper Matt Holland was hoping to be over the calf injury he sustained in training and was confident he was going to play. Now he faces a wait to get home as Dublin Airport has also been affected by the weather.
The game is not going to be rescheduled as it was a friendly.
