Jeffers Returns - Ipswich Town News
Loan striker Franny Jeffers has returned to Portman Road as he continues his rehabilitation from his hamstring injury. The Blackburn Rovers striker could be back in action for the Blues before the end of the season.
Jeffers told the club site: "I'm recovering quicker than I expected and have come back to Ipswich for the physio staff to have a look at how things are progressing.
"I'm here for the week to continue my rehab and we will take it from there."
Jeffers's initial month with Town is up after the Plymouth game next Saturday but could be extended if he is nearing a return to match action.
Last week, boss Jim Magilton revealed that he is keen to make the one-time England frontman a permanent signing over the summer.
