Northern Ireland Game On - Ipswich Town News

The Northern Ireland game with Norway in Belfast this evening has been confirmed as going ahead despite the snow. An inspection this morning saw the Windsor Park pitch playable.

Town have put in a offer for the Humber Doucy Lane Sports Centre where Ipswich Wanderers currently play their games. Town purchased their Bent Lane training ground from Fison's a few years back but now want to expand even further.

Concerns have been expressed at the number of local pitches the club has gobbled up recently with the ex-Crane's Sports Ground also now owned by Town.

There are also suggestions that Town may be after the Suffolk College ground which is situated between the Humber Doucy Lane Sports Centre and the former Crane's

Russell Osman's fortnightly column is now up and he isn't happy at Howard Wilkinson. The former Town and England defender was unimpressed with last night's U21 performance.
