Forrest Making Comeback - Ipswich Town News
Former Town keeper Craig Forrest is considering a surprise playing comeback at the age of 39. Forrest, who retired in 2002 after recovering from testicular cancer, joined in training with new MLS club Toronto FC on Tuesday.
Now a TV pundit, Forrest is said to be deciding whether to take on a role as a back-up keeper with the side managed by former Scottish international striker Mo Johnston.
The 56-time Canadian international is said to have impressed in the training session but limped out early with a slight calf strain.
