Supple Another Doubt - Ipswich Town News

Keeper Shane Supple has emerged as another doubt ahead of Saturday's home game with Derby County, due to a minor groin strain. Town are already waiting on first choice keeper Lewis Price, who picked up a foot injury at Sheffield Wednesday.

Boss Jim Magilton says he expects one of his keepers to be OK to face the Rams: "I'm sure, knowing both of them, that at least one will declare himself fit."

Price had trouble kicking in the second half at Hillsborough and his foot is more painful than was expected, but if Supple fails to make it the Welsh international is likely to be considered fit enough to take his regular place in the side.

Town boss Magilton is keen to see Supple in action in the first team before the end of the season, the 19-year-old having made only nine senior appearances during 2006/07.
