Bruce Appeal Confirmed - Ipswich Town News
Boss Jim Magilton has confirmed that the Blues will appeal against Alex Bruce's red card against Derby County. The defender was dismissed in the 28th minute after a clash with Rams keeper Stephen Bywater, who was also red-carded.
Magilton told the club site: "My first reaction was that it was harsh and we've had another look at it on video and it looks handbags.
"I think a yellow card for both players would have been the right decision and we will be appealing."
Bruce will miss the final three games of the season if the appeal fails.
