Red Card Pair Charged - Ipswich Town News

Town's Alex Bruce and Derby's Stephen Bywater have both been charged with "improper conduct following dismissal" by the FA for their clash in the aftermath of their sendings off during Saturday's 2-1 Blues victory. However, the initial red cards have both been overturned.

The pair have until Wednesday 18th April to admit or deny the new charge with a disciplinary hearing set for Wednesday 25th April.

At a hearing earlier today, the FA upheld both players' appeals against their sendings off for violent conduct in the 28th minute of Saturday's game.

Bruce is now clear to face Norwich City at Carrow Road on Sunday.
