Clapham and Brown Sign New Deals - Ipswich Town News

Jamie Clapham and Wayne Brown have signed new deals which will keep them at Portman Road until the 2003/04 and 2002/03 seasons respectively.

George Burley said of the new deals: "I’m very pleased to secure these young team members on long term contracts. Both are exciting players with great futures ahead of them."

Of Clapham he said: "Jamie has improved immensely since arriving from Tottenham and has show he can perform at the highest level in the Premiership."

And of Wayne Brown: "Wayne is a whole-hearted defender who has been pushing hard to gain a regular first team slot. I’m sure in the next two seasons he will play a big part in the team’s success."

According to the club Titus Bramble will miss the games against Aston Villa and West Ham after receiving his tenth yellow card of the season. Bramble missed a game earlier in the seson after pisking up five bookings.

We've had a count and we can only come up with eight in the first team and (we think) one in the reserves. Have we missed something?

Town have announced that they received over 10,000 votes in the kit vote. The result is to be announced prior to the Bradford game on Sunday.

The kit which won received 4,315 votes which is 41% May the second kit received 33%. Subject to the club sponsor being confirmed the kits will go on sale from Saturday 26th May.

The U19 Academy team won 3-0 in this afternoon's match with Charlton. The U17s play Southampton tomorrow morning at Bent Lane (10am KO).

Reminders will be go out by 16th March to fans who completed and returned Waiting List application forms. This will detail where they are on the list.

There are still tickets available for the Aston Villa game next week. They cost £21 for adults and £10.50 for concessions.

Tickets for the game with West Ham will be on sale from Monday 5th March to Portman Plus Gold Card holders and Blues Crew members who are season ticket holders 'til Wednesday 7th March. Season ticket Holders, Portman Plus members and Blues Crew members (accompanied by card holding adult) can get tickets from Wednesday 7th March. Tickets go on general sale on Monday 12th March. They cost £27 for adults and £15.50 for concessions.

The Coventry City ticket ballot will start the week commencing 5th March.
