Tickets on Target - Ipswich Town News

Chief executive Derek Bowden says Town's season ticket sales are on target. Fans have until Friday to purchase their seats for 2007/08 at the reduced 'early bird' price.

Bowden said: "Postbags have still to be emptied and tickets have to be processed, and it will not be until Tuesday that we have the final figures.

"The final week traditionally brings the most applications and we look to be set to reach our target.

"I am very happy with the response of our fans. The increase in prices proved a little contentious, but exciting wins in our last three home games have shown what manager Jim Magilton and his team are capable of.

"And the loyalty award scheme has been well received.”

The Blues had 16,000 season ticket holders for 2006/07 but are likely to have targeted a lower figure for the season ahead.

Although Friday is officially, the club will accept 'early bird' applications which they receive over the weekend.
